After a month of indulgences, we’re ready to reset. Fresh greens, lighter meals, and a bit of restraint is in order. Instead of blending eggnog and whipped cream, January calls for blending fruits and vegetables. Starting the day with a vibrant, nutrition-packed whole juice gets your day off to a good start. Our recipe features all things green – spinach, cucumber, green grapes, a green apple, and nutrition newcomer, spirulina.

Yes, the humble algae hanging around on the surface of your local pond has risen to the top. As a superfood superstar, it offers an ideal mix of protein, antioxidants, and minerals. Its vibrant hue amplifies a green juice from boring to brilliant. Taken on its own, the flavor is definitely on the savory seaweed side. But a half-teaspoon is all you’ll need for four servings, and the sweetness of the green grapes nicely balances the flavor.
