How do you elevate an everyday kitchen appliance into something uniquely essential to the home cook? The process starts with brainstorming sessions including experts from multiple disciplines, and rough sketches by a meticulous industrial design team. Step by step, the ideas put to paper are transformed into the final product combining form and function.

sketch Wolf Gourmet

Designing an appliance that proudly carries the Wolf Gourmet name involves many months of planning and real-life testing. Starting with Wolf cooking equipment, rooted in over 80 years of experience evolved from restaurant kitchens, we knew these appliances had to have a distinctive function. But we also knew to soften the commercial look for a home kitchen environment. A shining example is the design of our blender. There are many high-powered blenders on the market, but we wanted to create a blender people would be happy to leave on their counter instead of storing away. Keeping a balance of form and function – powerful yet refined – was important. Ultimately, we created a design to complement Wolf cooking appliances, but with its own brand aesthetic. All of the countertop appliances combine optimal functionality and appearance with the use of the iconic Wolf red knobs, easy-to-read buttons, intuitive controls, and brilliant LED screens.

Wolf Gourmet design award

This year, the Wolf Gourmet countertop oven with convection, high-performance blender, and four slice toaster were honored with six international awards – three from iF International Forum Design and three from Red Dot Design. We are absolutely thrilled to have our efforts recognized by these prestigious international organizations.

Throughout the process, our goal has been to maintain the high standards of quality, state-of-the-art technology, thoughtful and innovative design, and the impeccable workmanship for which Wolf is known. All of the countertop appliances have an ideal balance of optimal functionality and appearance.

    Hello Wolf Courmet,

As a service manager for Alluance Group in the Netherlands, I use recipes from the Wolf Gourmet at home.
Where I have a lot of work with I translate the size units, special of “Cups”
for example 1/2 cup cilantro leaves, how many grams will that be?

    best regards,
